What My Clients Say

“If you are looking for a trainer who is professional, attentive, and definitely produces great results, Bobby Kvidt won’t disappoint! Bobby tailors my workout routine to both build up my strength and to rehab my problem areas such as my shoulders and knees. I am 59 and I feel better than I did 10 years ago. I used to not be able to even reach into my cupboard without pain in my shoulder. I was so beat up, tired, and in pain all the time. Now, the pain is minimal and infrequent. I can work around the yard, go water skiing and wake boarding, and live the retirement life how I want to. Thanks Bobby. ” – Cynthia S

“I had recently retired, and I wanted to start focusing more on my health and wellbeing. One of those goals was to start weight training to help build strength as well as bone density as I have been diagnosed with Osteopenia. After training I had gained a sense of confidence in what the core groups of muscles are, what exercises I can use to strengthen them and how to build a program to keep my training up… I am now able to lift and carry more things (grandkids, mulch, furniture etc.) around without the aches and pains I used to have. I was comfortable working with Bobby because he listened to what I wanted to achieve…It is important to work on building the strength and endurance of your body to capitalize on all the new things you want to try in retirement. It also helps to build an empowering sense of confidence in your ability to take on new challenges. For example… If I can deadlift 190 lbs., something I never ever ever thought I would be able to do, maybe I should tackle other things in life that I never thought I could do.” – Christine A.
About Me

My name is Bobby Kvidt, and at Kvidt Personal Training I believe in building strength for all life’s adventures. My pursuit of strength started in college, but my story starts in high school. During basketball practice my sophomore year, I took a bad fall that landed me on crutches for six weeks, and unable to put any pressure beyond walking on my knee for the next six years.
I discovered my form of fitness in powerlifting, which allowed me to drop 60+ pounds, build more strength than I’d ever had before, and ultimately get rid of my “weak” knee and turn it into a strength. This strength extended beyond the gym, and I saw my entire life change for the better. The transformation left a lasting impression on me, and it gave me an avenue for how I could impact the life of others.
Since then, I’ve worked as a trainer for the last six years across three states. I hold a training certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and am continually engaging in continuing education courses through the exercise science research journal, MASS.
My training philosophy is simple: strength cures weakness. Many of life’s problems are a result of physical weakness, and the process to fix that is incredibly simple.
I identify what everyone’s starting point is and curate a plan that meets them where they’re at. Some people start off ready to get under a barbell, other people have to start by sitting and standing out of progressively lower chairs. But, it’s not about where you start, it’s about how you start.
With excruciating attention to detail, I monitor every movement of my clients’, ensuring that their progressions are safe and effective. Whether it’s pain, low energy, or a lack of confidence, building strength changes everything. No person is too far gone; strength is for everyone.
Outside of fitness, I’m currently finishing a degree in Physics from UW while working as a research intern for the HERA Telescopes where I help maintain the telescopes remotely and engage in data analysis and processing. This analytical rigor influences how I approach everything, your fitness goals included.
